Scuba Diving Insurance

If you already have dive insurance such as DAN (Diver Alert Network), or Scuba Medic etc., then please bring your policy document with you. Spanish Diving Laws (B.E. NO 280, 22nd November 1997, Ministerio de Fomento) state that it is mandatory that all divers in Spain, including the Canaries, to have Personal Accident and Third Party Liability Insurance.

This law is applicable to all divers, so as part of our registration procedure, we must ask for your dive insurance documentation.

If you don't already have dive insurance then no problem we can sign you up on the spot. We offer daily, weekly, monthly or annual coverage. It starts from just a few euros and provides you with immediate cover so you can get on and enjoy your diving!

Lanzarote Dive Centre can provide this service, you will be covered with Scuba Medic worldwide.

Recompression Chamber

On Lanzarote we have our own hyperbaric chamber (Recompression Chamber). It is run by the hospital in Arrecife, the capital, and is about 10km away. If you need hyperbaric treatment this is where you will be taken.
