Scuba Diving Insurance at Lanzarote Dive Centre

When diving in Spain, insurance is mandatory. If you already have dive insurance such as DAN (Diver Alert Network), or Scuba Medic etc., then please bring your policy documentation with you. Spanish Diving Laws (B.E. NO 280, 22nd November 1997, Ministerio de Fomento) state that it is mandatory that all divers in Spain, including the Canaries, have Personal Accident and Third Party Liability Insurance.

This law is applicable to all divers, so as part of our registration procedure, we must ask for your dive insurance documentation. Snorkelers and those divers learning to dive with us, are automatically covered under our dive centre insurance policy.
