Discover Scuba Diving

Try a dive on our house reef: it's full of marine life and better than any aquarium!

Taking your first breaths underwater is exciting, add to that being in the ocean and you've a whole new underwater world to discover when scuba diving in Lanzarote.

Our try dives are from the shore on our house reef which is ideal for try dives as it is a protected bay. We keep the group sizes small, tailored to the individual and taken at a pace that suits you to keep it safe and fun.

Our house reef is full of marine life including many colourful reef fish such as the ornate wrasse, the parrot fish and puffer fish as well as shoals of bream, damsel fish and sardines. You may also see octopus & cuttlefish and there is always the chance of seeing larger fish such as barracuda, rays and the endangered Angel Shark.

Here's what you can expect on the day:
- a dive briefing to ensure you understand what is involved and expected of you
- learning a few basic hand signals
- learning a couple of basic scuba diving skills
- learning about the scuba equipment you will use
- learning some basic dive theory about the effects of pressure underwater
- being in the water for 30-40mins with your SSI Instructor.

We provide you with everything you need and you will have full use of all our facilities including changing rooms, toilets, lockers and our outdoor seating area.

We recommend booking in advance so you're not disappointed and have plenty of time to complete your SSI Try Dive digital learning.

When you book, it is very important that you leave a minimum of 18 hours between the end of dive and your flight home.
