a 10 point guide to diving responsibly and info on the Lanzarote Biosphere Marine Reserve, the largest in Europe, at the time of printing.
It was supported by the Canarian Government who endorse diving with Canarian Government authorised dive centres, such as ourselves, Lanzarote Dive
Centre. It also has a nice section at the back dedicated to the marine life found in the Atlantic waters surrounding Lanzarote that is worth checking

Playa Chica dive sites include the Playa Chica Orange Coral reef, the Shrimp Cave and the Cathedral with abundant marine life, Rays, Angel Sharks & huge resident Groupers dominating the reef top plus amazing views from the Cathedral
into the blue, there's plenty going on to experience!
If diving wrecks is your idea of the best dive site possible then we have plenty of wreck diving sites to choose from too. These artifical reefs attract shoals of trevally bream & barracuda, along with Butterfly Rays, Eagle Rays and also the larger pelagic predators!
The best wreck dive site maybe the Old Harbour Wrecks with 6 sunken fishing boats to discover from 40m upwards or the Tuna Wrecks which boasts 3 tuna fishing boats which have now, rather fittingly, been taken over by the tuna!
Punta Tinosa and Veril de Playa Chica also have small wrecks on them.

For those of you that love marine life and the unexpected nature of wall and reef dives then there are plenty to choose from for your best dive site. Playa Fariones and Playa Grande offer the exhilarating Fariones Reef dive sites. Easily
accessible by a short boat ride you'll be experiencing probably the best boat reef & wall dive sites on the island! Enjoy Waikiki, Los Arcos, the ever popular Richies Place and more!
When the currents are right they turn into exhilarating drift dives, just relax and enjoy the ride; why not look out into the blue for the opportunity to see passing tuna, bonita and huge amberjack!
Our house reef at Black Beach has a huge variety of different marine life to look out for from the tiny candy stripped flat worms & seahorses to rays & Angel Sharks! You can also enjoy the eel garden as well as dive
Lanzarote's famous Blue Hole!
For others, the best dive site on Lanzarote may be in Playa Blanca, the home of the Museo Atlantico. It was created by the artist and diver Jason De Carnes Taylor with many of the exhibits modelled on Lanzarote locals and opened in early 2016 to worldwide acclaim.
Accessible only by boat choose our Museo Atlantic 2 dive package and you'll dive it and one of the other best dive sites in Playa Blanca.
